How to apply gradual tan
Step 1: Prep the skin
Exfoliate well and moisturise before applying any sort of tanning moisturiser, including gradual tan. Pay close attention to particularly dry areas, like the knees and elbows.
Step 2: Reach for your gradual tan
Apply your chosen gradual tanning moisturiser with your hand or a mitt, smoothing carefully from the legs upwards. We recommend using circular motions to ensure all areas are evenly covered.
Step 3: Wash your hands
You don’t want your hands to be darker than the rest of your body – it’s a major tanning faux pas! Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly to avoid staining or over tanning them.
Step 4: Enjoy the glow!
After 4-8 hours, your gradual tan will be fully developed into a natural, sunkissed glow. To achieve a deeper bronzed look, reapply your gradual tanning lotion daily to build your tan.
